×ÓØÊÈÍ Äìèòðèé Àíàòîëüåâè÷ Dmitry Chushkin, Deputy Minister of Defence

He was born on 10 May 1969 in village Krasnougolsky, Republic Bashkiria. In 1993 graduated from Ufa Aviation Technical State University, speciality “Design-automation systems”.

Until 1999 had been working in Tax Inspection of Bashkortostan Republic. Then he was appointed chief of information systems department of territorial inspections of State Tax Inspection in Moscow.

Since 2000 to 2003 he occupied various positions: since March 2000 – deputy head of Directorate of the RF Ministry of Taxes and Collections in Moscow, since September 2003 – deputy Minister of Taxes and Collections. After the Ministry transformation into the Federal Tax Service Dmitry Chushkin became deputy head of Federal Tax Service.

As per the President's Decree as of November 20, 2008, Mr. Chushkin became deputy Minister of Defence.

Dmitry Chushkin is responsible for development of automated control systems, information technologies and communication, supervising corresponding structures and formations in the RF Armed Forces.

Awarded by Medal of Honor, Order of Merit for Country of the II Degree, Borderline surveillance medal.
