Deputy Minister of Defence
Grigory Naginskiy was born on June 16, 1958 in the city of Orsk, the Orenburg Region.
He graduated from the Urals Polytechnic Institute named afterS. M.Kirov in 1980.
In 1987 he took part in the rectification of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl Atomic Electric Power Station, conducted maintenance work on the fourth power unit of the station.
In 2001 he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region.
In 2003 he was elected as a member of the Federation Council of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region.
From 2007 – the representative from the Legislative (representative) body of the government authority of the Leningrad Region in the Federation Council.
Member of the Federation Council’s Committee on Industrial Policy.
The member of the Federation Council’s Commission on Natural Monopolies.
For courage and dedication during the rectification of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl Atomic Electric Power Station he was awarded the Order of Courage.
He was also awarded the honorary title "Honored Builder of Russia".
Ph.D. in Economics.
Married with a daughter.
