Vice-admiral Alexander KLETSKOV, Black Sea Fleet, Commander since 17 July 2007.
He was born on August, 16th, 1955 in khutor Kamensky, Bryansk region. In 1978 graduated Naval high school, Kaliningrad and served as the assistant to the commander - navigation officer, the commander of a base trawler, the assistant to the battalion commander of trawlers on the Baltic fleet.
In 1989 has ended the Naval academy and has continued service on Baltic fleet in the following positions: the chief of staff - the assistant to the brigade commander of warships of guards of water region, the commander of this brigade, the chief of an staff - the assistant to the division commander of the surface ships of the Baltic fleet.
Since 1998 - the deputy chief of Baltic fleet staff for combat control, the chief of staff - the first assistant to the commander of the Baltic naval base of the Baltic fleet.
In 2003 he graduated from the General Staff Academy of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation and has been appointed training chief of the Baltic fleet. Since 2003 - the commander of the Baltic naval base.
Since 2005 he became the chief of staff - the first vice-commander of the Baltic fleet.
On July 17, 2007, the President's Decree confirmed him as Commander of the Black Sea fleet.
