Vice Admiral Viktor Mardusin, Baltic Fleet, Commander since 6 December, 2007.
Viktor Mardusin was born on March 18 1958 in Bryansk. In 1980 he graduated from the Black Sea Higher Naval School (Sebastopol) and reported to the Baltic Fleet where he served as combat officer, assistant commander of a small-size missile ship.
Upon completion at the Navy Higher Officer Courses, Viktor Mardusin served as assistant commander of small-size missile ship, chief officer of FBM ship, FBM ship commander, fleet destroyer commander, Baltic Fleet.
In 1991, he graduated from the Navy Academy and returned to the Baltic Fleet where he continued his service as a small-size missile ship division commander, and then as chief of staff – deputy commander of the guided missile ship brigade, commander of the guided missile ship brigade, chief of staff – first deputy commander of the Baltic Fleet naval base.
In 2000 Viktor Mardusin graduated from the General Staff Academy and continued his service as deputy chief of staff of the Baltic Fleet.
In 2001 he was appointed as the Commander of the BF Naval base.
Since 2003 – Deputy commander, Pacific Fleet.
Since 2005 – Chief of staff – Fires deuty commander of the Pacific Fleet.
On December 6, 2007, the President's Decree confirmed him as Commander of the Baltic fleet.
