Colonel General Oleg  Salyukov.

He was born on May 21, 1955 in Saratov.

In 1977 graduated from Guards higher tank command school, Ulyanovsk and served in the troops as the commander of tank platoon, company, chief of staff - deputy commander of battalion, battalion commander in the Kiev Military District.

After finishing in 1985 the Armor academy served as chief of staff – deputy commander of armor training regiment, commander of armor regiment, chief of staff – deputy commander of Guards armored division in the Moscow Military District.

After finishing in 1996 the Military academy of General Staff of the RF AF he was appointed as the division commander.

From 1997 served in the posts of the division commander, chief of staff  and army commander in the Far-Eastern Military District.

Since April 2005 – chief of staff – first deputy commander of the Far-Eastern Military District.

Colonel General Oleg  Salyukov was appointed as Far-Eastern Military District Commander according to the President’s Decree.

Military ranks of "Major" and "Colonel" was given in advance.

Awarded three decorations and 9 medals.

In 2003 he was awarded with the Diploma of the Forum "Public Recognition".

Married with a son.
